Dang, i just replaced everything in that corner early last December cause i ran a BMW over. I'm gonna get a hold of that shop and ask if they replaced them at that time, i know they replaced nearly everything over there. But, yea i know how to work on trucks, shoot im studying to be a mechanic. and yea it does it when i turn and that tire is worn more on outside but i think thats cause i cranked the torsion bars on it. (but passenger side tire is fine)
if you rent the tool for $50 it makes it alot easier. It took me about 3 hours to replace my two lowers and the upper A arms
i would still fix the sway bar first. i had a similar noise. turned out to be a loose swaybar. then a different noise was the balljoints, and i had a popping noise which turned out to be worn tierod. . needless to say my entire frontend is new
my factory sway bar endlink bushings were all dry rotted and one even fell out and i replaced them and i felt a little difference, not as much body roll
Just replaced front end links today, WOW i must that busted it right after i put my body lift on cause i was thinking that the extra roll was from that and it mostly went away. Tomorrow hopefully going to find out which ball joint it is. All of this right before the building of my new horn....
Lower ball joint, that makes me happy cause its cheaper and ill still have enough money to finish building my horn.
