that bumper has been painted three times under warranty i hope they do it right and maybe it wont come off on you. is that your wife in the avatar?

 

dang wonder why it dont stick good. at least its gray behind the paint lol. nah some pic i snatched off hardlinecrawlers

 

i really dont know what the deal is. i had it no more than a month and the paint came off in the car wash and took it to the dealer and they repainted it. lasted about a year and same thing.then one more time so i gave up. always the same place. the grill was something in the road.

 

good to know, i wont spray the front bumper at the car wash no more.

 

the last guy that painted it said he stripped the whole bumper and treated it but the same place came right back

 

Just got caught up on the last 2 pages.Nothing yet,wow.For the amount of your paying them and them putting you on back burner for there race car friend.I would hope they would comp you something.Or maybe not charge you what they said they would.I imagine your spending some serious money with them and might so in the future again.They need to step up for you,and if they want any chance of repeat business from you in the future they will make things right.

N how the hell do they forget to order the fuel pump.Thats an important part.What kind of ppl they got ordering your parts for you?Just not right.

 

I know what you are going through! I did the same thing with mine. I had a local shop give me my tune after the motor build...$800 later and about 70 miles and BAM punched a hole in the piston, fudged the block, and they said, "you must have been driving it too hard"

Dum ass I was on the interstate taking my wife to work cause it had snowed.

So my word of advice is make for damned sure you get 3 tunes for it. A 'HOT' tune, a COLD WEATHER tune, and a "bad gas" (87 octane) tune.

that was my issue, they didn't tune for cold weather and it leaned out BAD.

If you want to get some ideas of things to make sure you got pm me and I will give you my number. I DON'T want you to have the same thing happen to you as it did me.

 

well its a father son business and each of them thought the other ordered it. still im sick of excuses and want some damn answers
