Well they need to get there communication in order.My friend and his two sons own there own auto shop and never once have i seen miscommunication on there part.After all,a part late or not ordered could mean future business loss.So i agree with you on being sick and tired of the excuses.Your money your spending with them requires def straight forward answers.Hope you get them man.

Dude make sure you raise some cane. My woman took her SUV in to have a new tranny installed(old one went)well they ordered her a new tranny.Ya for a 4.6,not for her 4.0.So had to wait another couple days after they told her it will be ready in 3 days max.2 weeks later,she finally gets it back with the right tranny.She raised some heavy cane saying well you guys said this date,not today.When she got done,they dropped the labor charges.
You better be getting some sort of a deal worked out. They screwed you over pretty hard, even if it wasn't on purpose
