only reason i wont put it back on, is that looking at from the rear its ugly as hell. And you get a ton of blind spots backing up.. And with where i park it in the driveway, cant have that. And it would probably give me even more of a cali lean
How much is that 99+ swap costing you? if you don't mind me asking. I would like to do that to my truck too
its gonna be about $300 before shipping. thats with the depo fogs from ebay. and through certifit for the rest.
until you start drivin a big f150 and are used to power, its depressing when all these guys are talkin bout how fast there trucks will go and crap. I WILL own a lowered fiddy one day. I have always been brought up around fast cars and trucks, and I want a lowered someday just to tinker with.
i love my lowered fiddy. it was my first truck aswell. But everyone no matter where you are prefers a lifted truck, even if its 2wd. But i have an addiction to lowered ones. Our winters just put a hold on that, so she gets parked for a few months every year. I hope this time next year to bag it. As for how fast it goes, im ok with my 4.6, regardless what truck i'm in. also want to be s/c'd at some point, but at 89, almost 90k miles, thats gonna be awhile
yeah man. I keep wantin to pour cash in this one and i was thinkin and was like dang I cud prolly get a 2wd 5.4 and supercharge it for the same cost i could do mine and be alot faster. That will prolly be like forever from now lol.
Very tempting to just throw money everywhere. I'm trying not too, figure i've done decent so far. And i overthink everything before i do it.
