Or you could just spray some wd 40 on the henges. Thats what i did i used to pull on it and it wouldnt open worth crap, thought i needed a new handle, but then i just sprayed some wd 40 in henges on the gate and were they latch and bam good as new.
That may work but seeing how he has to push in on the gate to open it leads me to believe the latches are too far in.
I don't have to push my tailgate in to open it at all. It opens and closes like it did back in 2002. Looks like that 2001 is a good deal Dustin. Good luck on the swap.
i kno we give em a lot of crap, but most chevys are kinda alright. id take one over a lot of other trucks out there... and yal can me all yal want for that, its the truth lol
I prefer not to drive a Chevy. I'm 39 and have never owned one and honestly with the exception of a few older model Chevy pickups, don't plan on ever owning one. That said, they're not terrible trucks, they have their good points, I just tend to think a Ford truck has more good points then the a GM truck. :
