I have them mounted where the spare tire goes. The tank is welded to the frame rail underneath the passenger side. I LOVE LOVE LOVE these things! I still have my stock horn, and the switch for the train horns are on the dash, right within reach.

    Check out www.hornblasters.com

They are awesome guys and have a great quality product. Here's the horn I got:

It's super loud... people could hear it over a mile away lol

Hmmm...I am very interested in doing this! Raider, did you do the install yourself?

And to everyone who has this, are you finding that you use it enough to warrant the cost. I mean, if someone is sitting in front of me and it's a green light and they are looking down I usually tap my horn to let them know to go. I would think it might be a lil overkill to sound this train horn in that situation, lol. But that's just me. When are you guys usually using it for/what situations?

Actually, George (UnleashedFord) did the install for me. From looking at it, I probably would have been able to do it myself (pre-accident) lol.

I got them because nobody in SoCal knows how to drive. And not being racist or anything, but there are waaaaay too many mexicans and asians who drive like sh!t over here. :jester:

I've used mine at least 4 times in the last week due to being cut off, etc... It's a great show-off tool as well :rotflmao:

That's a great idea. I did the same in case I need to air up my tires or something.

The first time someone cuts you off and you cause them to shit their pants was enough to justify the cost. You can keep your factory horn still to give warnings.
