    haha i didnt even now they had an older lightning, but its a nice truck.

    No the gen 1's aren't. They are still pretty quick!! Would love to get my hands on one though and play around with it. Lots of mods to do them now. A lot of gen 1 guys are going the turbo route.

    the frame had increased rigidity, it had the 351 w with gt40 heads and upgraded pistons. and pretty much everything else the newer lightning has compared to an xlt minus the blower.
