That's right, 1500 ORIGINAL miles on it. I ran into the guy at the gas station up the street and started talking to him about it. His dad picked it up in Charlotte NC about 10 years ago with only 1K on it. It's been parked since. He decided to take it out for a spin the day I seen him. It still has the original Goodyear Gatorbacks on it and they look brand new. The interior was cherry as well, but I didn't want to take any pictures and freak the dude out. He was already sort of a weird guy. :jester:

    Here it is...

From what I got from the conversation was he's pops was always buying Fords. Apparently this one is some sort of 25th Anniversary model. So when he's dad bought it 10 years ago with 1500 miles on it, he bought it with the intention of parking it. Keep in mind it's an 89. Even 10 years ago it only having a 1000 miles on it was still amazing. The guy also said he's dad left him an 86 SVO Mustang as well. Those are damn rare nowadays. I want to say he said the SVO had like 30k on it.

This isn't it, but a reference for some of the younger guys here that probably has NO clue what an SVO Mustang looks like. 2.3 4 cylinder Turbo Stangs making 200HP, which at the time was a lot of ponys. :jester:

I'm guessing, but at the same time, that 5.0 with a manual transmission is screaming for some abuse. :peace: :jester:
