**Update** Talked to the mechanic today, and he is going to do it for 1200-1300! :D He is going to do my idler bearings as well, they were starting to get pretty bad and I was going to do them myself. But I figure I might as well have him do it since it's there. So the truck won't be parked/SAS'd. ha ha. It should be done by tomorrow afternoon, so hopefully I can go pick it up then. I sure miss it, and I'm getting tired of driving around our Excursion. ha ha. The thing is a tank!

Well... I figure it's time for an update and some new pictures. I still haven't been able to find rims that I like/fit my truck how I want them too. So they still haven't been purchased. My front end has developed a howl that sounds like a screaming banshee. I'm pretty sure it's my passenger side CV joint. I have the whole assembly purchased, just need to install it. I removed my bug deflector. And lastly, the chrome surround on my grille is starting to bubble. Anyone have any experience with removing the chrome on it? I want to sandblast it off, then ptm it. and now. Pictures

^^ I agree. It originally had a black one on that looked pretty good. But that broke when I went through a chain-link fence... ha ha. So I thought a chrome one would flow better with the grille surround. Turns out I was wrong. And now I just like it better without :D
