skid plates

i got a buddy with a 98 150 reg cab, flare side who doesn't drive it to much anymore and seen he had skid plates on it. and was wondering if those plates would fit on my screw?

i doubt they will be a direct bolt on

 

I dunno... they might. I don't think they changed a whole lot on the underside where they mount between 97 and 2003.

I've never even paid any attention to where mine bolt on.

everthing will fit with a little grinding and welding

 

well dur i new i could make them fit but i didn't know if you guys new if they would bolt right up. so do you think i should go for it and get um or not?

ya i figured thats what i would do if not every hole bolted up. i was more so worried about the frame rails and gas tank and everything being the same style

 

didn't the tanks change from metal to plastic? and a screw tank is different than a rab tank.
