Wipers?

    Today i hit a speed bump and my wipers turned on and would not go off. i pulled the fuse(thanks to assistance from abe finding it),but would like to see what yall thought the problem is.

    hmmmmmm you hit a bump and they came on...what if you were to hit another bump would they turn off? :hmm:

    Damn, that's wild I've never heard of anything like that before. Possible wiper assembly went bad??? :think:

    It's got to be in the the switch inside the steering colum I bet....

    Theres all kinds of switches and contacts inside the switch assembly. Could just be a bad or dirty contact. 2 screws and 2 plugs to pull it off the column, and 4 torx screws to pop the assembly apart. gotta pull the ignition lock cylinder to take the column trim apart, kind of a pain, gotta be careful no to break the "pinger" contact clip/ unless you dont want a door pinger anymore. i taped mine off.

    thanks guys im gonna look in to it and see what i can come up with. jarrett i hit another bump and sometimes they would go off but come right back on.oh well its not raining today. i looked really retarded riding around hollering at hos with my wipers on.
