    well....thats it ...i give up...it had power bsck for about 5 minits and its right back to doin the same thing again...popping and cracking through the intake......ima bout to give in and say screw it...any idea's?

    Popping through the intake is either a lean condition or retarded timing. Make sure your timing is at least 10 deg. with the spout off, then make sure you put it back on. Check all vacuum lines for leaks and make sure your PCV system is functioning correctly and the PCV valve plugged into the rear of your intake manifold.

    Check the timing and the fuel pressure.

    what are the odds of 2 motors being out of time? i was thinking maybe they gave me a bad computer...so i ordered another one and it'll be here saturday...ima try that...how do i go about checking the timing?

    good luck with it bats. sucks that you have had to go through all this trouble with it and not really made any progress
