    sputtering, no power, backfires

    My opinion,
a timing problem due to stretched/worn out timing chain set.

Not really. When it revs up it just spudders and don't want to go anywhere

I had the fuel pressure checked and it was way low. So I'm gunna change that and hope that's it

Thanks batman, was ur truck doing the same as mine?

Nice work, glad ya got it back to running right.

My fuel pump never gave me any sign it was going out. It just decided to go out one day after I'd been driving it earlier that day. I jumped in it to move it to the garage and it spit and sputtered a couple of times like it was running out of gas and that was it. I can't be too mad it died in the garage, only problem was it was the garage where my tools weren't at. So we had to push it to the detached garage. :jester:
