truck is missing where do i begin?

Truck is a 2005 fx4 5.4 with 115000. I have noticed lately that it misses when in overdrive maybe its not a true miss but kinda chugging or slightly jerking a little but not bad. Where do i begin to determine what it is. Recently did oil change,sea foamed,fuel filter,air fliter,changed the tranny fluid in the pan only. Any advice

 

put it on a computer

 

will it show something if its not getting a cel

 

not sure but what would it hurt, might give you somin

 

well i hate to pay someone to hook it up and it not show anything

 

You have a cop on the way out....

 

it only does it in overdrive when it happens

 

advance auto does it for free

 

is there a way to ohm them to find the bad one or just wait til it goes bad

 

Yup...I have had it happen that way before....You can start the truck and let it idle then unplug each cop one at a time and listen/feel for a change in the engines idle ....if there is no change when you unplug one thats the bad one. Text me if you need anything else.
