Rough Acceration HELP!!

    So today my truck started acting funny and would start to shake and kinda buck under accleration. If I accelerate really slow, it kinda find, but I can't really drive to fast at all. What could be wrong? I have a few assumsions but wanna hear what you guys think first.

    4.6 has coil packs and thats what I was thinking it was. Is it really hard on your truck to drive with them bad? Tonight a important night and was hoping I could baby my truck the 15 miles there and 15 miles back in the moring?

    have you changed your plugs and wires at all? try that first and then try coil packs. make sure to get motorcraft plugs i put cheap ones in last year this time and had to change them again last week

    4.6 does have cops but his 4.6 does not. They changed in like 01 I believe. my guess is plugs and wires. Does it have a cel?

    haha, you know, i was just wondering that. I assume my truck has a cel, but I though maybe the bulb was out or something, because its ran rough before and never turned on the light

    The light should come on when the key is turned on. That is a test. If it didnt illuminate while the truck is running rough then it may not be spark related, it might be fuel. Take it to the zone and have them check for stored codes.
