first off heres what im looking at.... 2001 Ford F350 4X4 w/plow

since its plowed and has 85k on it mostlikely original front end... now i work on f-350-f450 regually.. but they`re all 2wd.. now my ?? is how hard is it to do the balljoints? what im really asking is how much of a pita is it to take aprt the locking hub... i can do the ball joints easily got the press etc... but i`ve never disassembled a locking hub... sooo any and all insight is greatly appriciated... it looks like a killer truck i just wish i could find a 350 6spd manual with a 7.3l ext cab... like my buddy had...

I'm sure its not too bad. Just make sure you have a manual to tell you what order everything goes in. Idk if I would ever buy a plow truck though. The ones up here are ragged on hard during the winter, and those front ends take a pounding from snow, ice, rocks, sidewalks, everything.

wish i could help with the hubs. it looks like it's clean and in good shape, but plow trucks around here have been to hell and back. rebuild the front, and i don't think there will be trouble if it's as good as it looks. you could even make some extra cash with it in the winter...
