Does anybody know how to have the foglights and the headlights on at the same time? I've seen people that splice some wires and do it. Has anybody ever done that to an f250, if yes, maby yall could help me with it. Thanks

On my year you just pull the knob for the foglights to come on wih the headlights. If you want fogs with running lights you need to mod the switch and jump a wire. If that's what you are looking for I can let you know how.

Take off the fuse box cover, under the steering wheel, remove the CJB from the dash (Central Junction Box) the 4 10mm nuts.
Look for connector C270a with the horseshoe handle.
Cut the light green with a black trace wire, pin #13, tape or butt off the end leading to the wiring harness, leave enough light green with a black trace wire coming out of the C270a connector to attach a chassis ground wire to it.
That's it, test operation of high beams and fog lights with key switch on.
Reassemble CJB box and fuse panel cover.
This mod will not work on 1999-2000-2001-2002.
WARNING, you can be ticketed for driving with fogs and high beams on at the same time on public roads.

If you do the regular foglight mod it will run the highbeams with the fogs as well. I did it on my 2001.

Im not sure how your fogs are set up. Just another approach if you cant run just fogs and running lights and youd like to, it also will allow fogs and highbeams.

alright thanks for the info. the explanation was kinda hard to understand but i figured its prolly easier when im actually looking at the switch. I know this is stupid but are my running lights the same as the normal headlights or the amber lights?

Yeah it's much easier when you have the switch apart. I'm not sure about yours but on mine the running lights and signal lights are the same. Your heads are different but I'm assuming your signal and fog bulbs are the same.
