Ok, so I got a call from Progressive yesterday and they did find the other driver at fault.

Took the truck into Progressive this morning for the estimate ($450).

Now I'm waiting to hear back from O'Meara Ford Collision dept on when they have availability to bring the truck in.

Progressive promised me either another truck or full-size car as a rental for the days it's in the shop.

    Progress, I love it!!! :peace:

congrats man! progressive is good about owin up... they just triple check everything before they DO owe up ya know? 450 aint bad at all. figure $150-200 for the pad, another $2-250 for factory paint, plus labor of install. hope it all works out bro. oh, and see if you can get a SHO for your rental hahahaha.

I hear ya. I looked over the estimate, and yeah it's mostly paint/labor, the pad wasn't too costly.

Would love to get a SHO as a rental, wishful thinking. My father-in-law has a 2010 Taurus SEL AWD, and that thing does well for just the basic 3.5L. Makes me wonder how badass the SHO is.

    Thanks brother!

Will let everyong know when she goes in and gets out of the hospital. Hoping it should only be 2-3 days max, but who knows. Will provide after pics, even though it won't be much change.

Depends. I told the adjust that it needs to be just like new, no scraps or chunks out of the pad. And if they are to sand it down, it would need to be flawless.

Those are items the adjuster told me I need to speak with O'Meara more about. But she did state whichever route we needed to go, they'd cover.

Okay, have an appt to take the truck into O'Meara Ford on Tuesday the 5th. Will have a full-size enterprise rental car waiting for me. Will have to wait and hear back from O'Meara on whether there is anymore damage underneath the bumper cover.

Looks like I'm gonna have a lame ars Impala as a rental. Had one back in 2006 after the accident in my 2002 F150, and boy was that car a POS. Only thing good about it was the AC, otherwise, the car was cheaply made with cheap materials, horrible on fuel and god awful ugly. Sorry to anyone who may own a newish version of the Impala, but it surely doesn't impress me one bit.

    UPDATE:

Okay, I took the truck in on Tuesday (7/5) at 10:30am. Got a freakin 2011 Kia Sportage as a rental. Really it was okay, but not my cup of tea. Anyways, got a call on Wednesday at 12:00pm, the truck was done.

So picked up the truck at 1pm yesterday and it looks awesome. Plus they detailed my entire truck. Sucky part is, it rained practically all yesterday afternoon fudging up the detail.

Anyways, we're all good now and back to normal. I'll get some pics and post up the repair.
