When driving yesterday felt rough idle out of nowhere and vibration at stop light. Only happens when not accelerating... Fuel pump is out of question replaced less then year ago Changed fuel filter, checked all fluids and ran through carb an injector cleaner through gas Tomorrow I will be checking the PVC valve and hose for any holes since.... Any other ideas an fixes that could cause this?? Thanks!
hmm theres been some other threads about the same problem if u wanna check them out just search for "rough idle" or whatever. i think the guys have listed some of the most likely causes of that in there! hope you get it fixed
Thanks! After running the DTC's getting Lean flow on passenger and driver... opened the hood and found my pvc elbow completly split in half.. looks like the common problem just like the fuel pump was the answer again..
Yes, also good thing it was a 5 dollar fix.. No autostore carries an elbow for the 98 and up. Ford wanted 75 bucks for the whole vacuum system. Just went to local auto store and bought hose to fit. Pics are in my album, if over 80,000 miles would doubt check your elbow.
