If the truck was driveable i would. I was gonna drive it just down the road to the beer store and as soon as i got about 40 mph it started shaking so i turned around and took her home and parked it. Also, my tires are out of alignment so i don't wanna drive it down the interstate and screw up brand new tires. We're putting it on the roller bed tomorrow and taking it to our shop in cullman.
O and i went yesterday to get prices on everything from Autozone, Oreillys and Advance. Autozone wanted $150 for uppers, $52 for lower and $140 for the press Oreillys was $126 for uppers, $48 for lowers and $117 for the press Advance was even cheaper but the guys weren't helpful and didnt know anything about what they were talking about. Didn't even know what a press was, so i left with my finger in the air. Looks like i'm gonna hit up Oreillys, those press's are expensive lol
That's about what I paid for my parts from Oreilly. I don't use advance or auto zone. Most of those guys are idiots! Oreilly will price match rockauto so check them out, it may be cheaper. I found a fuel pump for my truck on rockauto for 71. Oreilly wanted 99 for the same pump but they priced matched it for me
Bought all my stuff for the joints. Gonna replace em this afternoon. The guy at oreillys gave me the wrong price. evidentally he didn't know that on my model truck the upper ball joints come pre-pressed in the control arm or whatever arm. So i instead paid...a little over $150 for both uppers. then they didn't have the press to rent so i had to go across the street to autozone for one. anyway, i'm just happy this is all about over
All kidding aside, you should tell them to get their act together. they cost there store a couple hundred dollar sale
