Ok here is my situation. I've been working as a kayak fishing guide all summer (fun job but not great pay, it's inconsistent) So I'm not making as much as I used to but only job I could find in this economic Climate and still being in school Well the tires that came with my wheels (Buckshot85 gave them to me, thanks Matt!) Procomp 35x12.5x18s are getting pretty bad. When it rains (like once a month if that) are making me slide like crazy pulling into traffic . So I'm ready to start to save for new tires. I'm putting in my last day this saturday the 13th because of school. I need to look for some new tires! I want to go with 33's this time. 35s are great but don't really need them honestly! My parent's said they'd help me, but I really don't want them to I like to be independent, you know? So what are some good tires that would look good with my theme, and with my Monsters? I really want some Nitto TGs but damn they ain't cheap! What do y'all think I should go with, if I went with TGs they would be 295/70/18s but I know those ain't cheap! I like the look of the duratracs alot but they aren't much cheaper. Any Ideas? I need them in the next 10,000 miles or so (by January at the latest) Now with school starting up my daily driving will be cut down to 30-40 miles compared to 75! Thoughts? Opinion? All Terrains or M/Ts????? Thanks Guys/Gals?
Our local Craigslist, Charleston, Savannah, and Hilton Head is DEAD! Especially when it comes to tires I've been looking on there all summer
i would tell you cl but you mentioned that its dead in your area....i think if you want anything decent you better save your money...dont buy cheap tires...youll pay for it in the long run
Well my maxxis bighorns ran me i think it was 7-750 for all of em. They are an at, haha believe it or not. There a great tire, they hold there own offroad and seem to be great on the road. I've had mine probly close to 6 months or right around there and they still look like the day i got them. http://www.fordfullsize.com/forum/members/lilwhitefiddy/albums/2wd-monstah/2034-101-0403.jpg Sorry i dont have a straight on tread pick but you can kinda see it in this one. http://www.fordfullsize.com/forum/members/lilwhitefiddy/albums/2wd-monstah/2422-0504011953.jpg
Nitto terra grapplers were the cheapest I found in 285 75 17s for my 150. not sure if they will be for your rims. Great great tires. If there werent so many steals on wheel and tire packages in my area on CL i would get the nitto TGs again
