    Well I noticed my differentials leakin today. Does anyone know of a website wher I can order a gasket for around the cover. I'd rather not use silicone. Thanks

    You can also use the orange RTV gasket. Really good stuff. I use it on my wheeling rigs...

    I have always used the silicone gasket maker from Autozone and never had a leak or issue. Just follow the instructions, and works like a charm. Make sure you get the "maker" as there is another but wont form to a hardened bead.

    Well ill probably just put a silicone gasket on tomorrow since I have almost a whole tube in my garage. And I'm just gonna reuse the fluid because its only been in there a year and a half.

    i would just use silicone.. make sure theres no cantanamints in your oil... if oil is leaking out ... other stuff can leak in..... i would go ahead and replace it.. just my 2 cents

    Re-using the oil? You're saving what, $25 bucks? And you are supposed to change your Rear end every 15k.

    Engine = 5k ($30)
    Rear Diff = 15k ($45)
    Trans = 25k ($80-120)

    These routine maintenance intervals will make for a long lasting powertrain.
