Hello all, I am in Mesa, Arizona and there are a ton of F-150 trucks here. I used to want to make my truck stand out from the rest. But now that I'm getting older, I care more about comfort than look. Don't get me wrong I would love to put on a 6" lift, but I do a lot of driving with work and comfort is now priority 1.

I'm lookin for a new ride height for my truck. I've had a 4.5" lift on my 2wd '01 Supercrew but got tired of having to climb "up" to get into it. Then I lowered the truck with a 4/6 kit from belltech. I am now tired of having to slow down for every little speed bump. As well as climbing up to get out.

I think idealy I want to climb "into" my truck. I don't want to climb "up" to get in, or "down" to get out (lifted). I also don't want to climb "up" to get out or climb "down" to get in (lowered). I know, I know, buck up.

Well, what in your mind is the ideal height for a 2wd Supercrew? If all I'm looking to do is level our the ride. I can go up or I can go down with the front or the back. Where is the best ride? With what size tire?

    :welcome:

The truck actually looks good both ways dude. I do however like it lowered myself. How bout running a 2/4 and possibly going up either to a 22" wheel or keeping the 20's and going up a series on your tires?

They're 20x8.5 with 275/45/20's. The drop is 3/4, and honestly the front is a little more then 3".

swap out either front coils for stock or drop spindle for stock making you a 2/6 drop and/or loose the drop shackles making you a 2/4 drop me and my buddies do that all the time.

Yeah I'm thinking a 2/4 or even a 3/5 will be about where he's wanting it to sit. It will still look low, but not so low it's a pain in the ass. I can still blast over railroad tracks when need be. :jester:
