    I agree, but then again I don't.

I actually had a guy walk into my daughter's cheer practice last year and trying to find out who my truck belonged to. He'd seen it parked at the field and was wanting to see if it was for sale. He ask me if it was for sale and I told him no, but he insisted on offering me 10K for it. Crazy thing was the dude was named Damon, and had wrecked his 2001 F150 about 3 months before and was looking to replace it. He had a 4.2, SuperCab XLT that was lowered. I thought he was BS'ing at first and thought someone had put him up to pranking me and had gotten the year of my truck wrong. :jester:

    West speaks the truf, truf.

All a dealer cares is that it has 4 tires and runs outside of the make, model and mileage. You have a lot better luck getting some money on your mods back out of an older truck that doesn't require such a cash outlay from a private buyer.

That's why anymore I stick to mods that can be quickly removed and sold on their own.

I am not even considering going to a dealer..... Ever, I have built toe truck to be my truck till it dies. But will all the people asking about it I need a really high price that one of the dads of these kids around here would buy. I live in memphis, we have several private schools where the kids love jacked trucks. We have alot of doctors and rich folks connected to memphis cus of fedex and other major companies around here, they buy already customized trucks for there kids all the time.

I don't want to sell the truck, and for the next show I will have a outrageously high price and if someone likes it enough they will bite. Then I will consider. But I won't let the truck go for less than 30-35 and ya that's high but I love my truck. If someone else out there likes it that much they will pay it. I just ain't trying to or wanting to, I just wanted a price to give to all these people asking.

If I could get 30g, that would be a good down payment on a ecoboost, super crew 4x4, may even go FX4. But Thats if some dummy wants to pay up! lol

Ya. my point is to get a high ass price, but reasonable to a yuppy ass daddy that dosnt want to mess with trying to do it all on his own for his kid.
