thats how it is for a diesel engine, not a gas gas engines breakin fully in around 50-60 k how ever much they last is how the owner takes care of it
I better go ahead and rebuild mine now that it's got 86k... I tend to believe any modern car or truck can easily surpass 100K with ease regardless of how well it's been treated. I'll put it to you like this Mark, my dad has a Pathfinder with almost 400K and it still runs like a champ dude. Here's my point, my dad DON'T take care of his cars hardly at all! So if he can pull 400K out of an engine I think the majority of people can.
thats why manufacture warranty goes out between 60-100k im not sayin it wont easily surpass 100 k, cause most cars do, its break in point is around 60,xxx on avaerage, depends how owners drivin it im not sayin it wont last till 500k, dont miss understand me, im rockin 190,xxx myself, and i have gave my poor truck hell
it's taken me almost 10 years to get to 86k, so at that rate it would take me 50 years to get near 500K.
I can put 40k a year on a truck easy. I've said it before and I'll say it again some of the best trucks I ever owned had OVER 200k
yeah i kinda miss not having so many miles on my truck, i think they run better after they have a few 100k on them
mine still runs just as good as the day i got it, and ive put 80,xxx miles on it and i bought it with 100,xxxx
It had nothing to do with us not liking red haha my truck is Red (FTW) its just that bright red, yellow, electric blue, orange, all the bright colors just catch your eye and stand out more than regular colors. So in turn if your speeding and your car catches our eye faster you are more likley to get pulled over.
