    I picked up an OBD reader/scanner a few years back and it was the best $100 I've ever spent. I can't remember who mines made by, but they all work pretty decent. I picked mine up at Wal Mart.

    I have the software but no cable. Do you know if I need this INTERFACE also or just a cable from my laptop to the OBDII port in my truck?
