So i've been tryin to think of what it could be, cats, heat shields, or a few other possibilities. On my vacation trip, the scab developed it too, and its loud, i can hear it over the exhaust at idle. But onto the rab. I've noticed if i rev it a little bit, the rattle goes away. Or if i give it the gas a little bit while its just sitting. This makes me think, it couldnt be the heat shields, since if anything, they should keep rattling, or rattle even more. I'm pretty sure both trucks have the stock cats, which means they are stupid full of rust. I'm just tryin to figure this out before i run out and get an exhaust put on, and it can be cured that way. Your thoughts and input?
It's the cats. My passenger side has rattled off and on for the past 2 years. Do they still sell the non foulers Thomas?
Maybe that's whats rattling on my truck. Every so often I'll shift outta P into R or D and I'll get a rattle underneath but that's the only time it does it. Never does it going down the road or anything, only once in a while when I'm shifting outta park Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yea, guess i'll either figure out how to gut them, or just put high flows in when i have it all done.
