Well here it is, Long story short... I wasn't happy at all with my IFS setup So I started brainstorming takin measurements, designing parts on the CAD program, fabbin parts, having parts bent and collecting the necessary parts to get the project goin... I drove 13.5 hours in one day to pick up a set of black steel wheels in Connecticut, a set of dana 60 axles in Pennsylvania, and a set of front leaf springs from western Massachusetts Then I parked er, put er up on blocks and started unbolting all the Rough Country 5" lift components and ripped em out from under er with much satisfaction Here you can see I stripped off all the IFS bracketry off the frame Took the front end down to bare shiny steel, Primed and painted Time to Roll the axle under er Slugged the frame with some DOM tubing that I had my buddy machine on the lathe to accept the bushing size I chose to use, bolted up the shackles (yup that's 3/8" steel cross braced with 3/4"), welded the front spring hanger in and bolted the leafs to the new parts haha sittin on 33s up front and 39s in back Swapped the front tires to the black steelies out in the yard with a couple pry bars. No suspension lift in the rear yet Oooo! Pretty brakes Haha Welded in some shock towers, bumper's not bent it's unbolted haha A simple set of shackle flip brackets to lift the rear Plus a set of 4" blocks And thats pretty much it! A drop pitman arm, a DOM drag link with a high steer arm. New Brake lines (stainles brake hose and hardline front to rear) and some other misc stuff I'm sure I'm forgeting It was quite a bit of work between designing, and performing the labor necessary to get the project done but it was well worth it!!!! No regrets and I love every minute of drivin er!! Did it all right in the driveway by myself with some hand tools, torches and a welder. All done clean and seamless out of 1/4" and 3/8" steel. I've gotten the front tires a foot off the ground a few times for a tough love test and she loves it haha
