That's exactly the reason Ford is killing the Ranger. Not Jesse personally, but the average truck buyer in general. Ford has honestly just unplugged life support on the Ranger. It's been on it's death bed for the past 6 years or so. Many of you may not realize this, but Ford almost stopped production 4 years ago and allowed themselves to be talked out of it. I think it's best right now that the Ranger take a leave from the US. it will return again in a few years and more then likely be received with open arms from people looking for a smaller pickup truck. So with all that said, almost everyone on this forum and other F150 forums killed the present American Ranger. Whether it be from us not wanting to risk our manhoods by being seen rolling in a truck that's smaller then a small 2 bedroom house, or just from the simple fact that some of us with families can't have a pickup the size of a Ranger anymore. Last but not least, one of the MAIN reasons I feel the Ranger is being put to sleep, PRICE. I miss driving a truck the size of a Ranger. I always had a blast in my 99 Mazda B2500 aka Ranger with Mazda badges. I'll step down from my lil soapbox now.
