Alright, this gem is for sale near me, I recently came into the need for a cheap-ish 4x4 that will last at least the winter. It's got 143,xxx KMS (not miles, someone can convert please) Listed at $5,600 CAD Good price? Or not? Will it last 6 months? What should I look for. This is about the only gen of f150's I have no idea about issues. -Posted with my iPhone.
thats a little much for a reg. cab with that high of mileage...I think a price near 4k would be better.... nice name btw
Basically 5700 USD and it's 90,xxx miles. Everything else around ere has around 155,xxx miles and $4000-4500 -Posted with my iPhone.
Bout 88-89k miles depending on how high in the 143k range it is. Little on the high side but looks like a solid truck. Try to talk him down to 4.5-5k for a better value. Depending on how it was treated, it should last you at least another 150-200k miles, so a bit more than 6 months
If you only drive during the winter and do regular and preventative maintenance, it'll last you a good while. 4.6L's have been able to go 500,000 on some people's trucks with just wear and tear components going out and burning a little oil
