You don't have to worry about miles on a 7.3.....just a 6.0 :jester:

If we knew what he paid for it the then the miles would determine how good of a deal he got. But since we don't, mileage is a good way to tell how well it was taken care of. It's clean for a 100k truck, super clean for a 180k! Nice lookin truck man! Glad we got another diesel. Any plans performance wise? Exhaust? Cai? Etc...

Yea but it's also not as easy to male more power. Mines getting a new oil cooler and egr delete and other than that it's been trouble free. :fingers:

Not ragging on your truck. Not all of them have issues. But I'd be a little more worried about a 6.0 just because of the history. You have gotten lucky. Knowing me, I'd be the guy to pick a Monday truck ha ha. Most of the bad ones are probably off the road or fixed already anyway

It's cool. They have issues and if you take the needed steps they last a long time. This one was even a buyback at 36k and it had a hole in the turbo inlet pipe backside that gave it low boost etc. Replaced that and it's been going fine since. Just now the oil cooler clogged so it's getting replaced with the updated version and egr delete and few other things like coolant filter and updated oil drain for the turbo and should be just fine. If I didnt get the cts and drove it with th cooler clogged that's when you run into failing egr coolers and blowing head gaskets. It's more about the person than the truck cuz there's people that do studs and still blow head gaskets cuz they don't do supporting mods or check the heads for flatness another main reason ppl blow gaskets
