Went to an automated car wash today to get all the mud and dirt off from this weekend. Then got to watch as the arms on the sprayers hit the front, back, and both sides.... Got a couple extra scratches on my tailgate and passenger door, as well as the bumper pad getting cracked and my bed cover getting hit. Called my insurance and am going to have somebody look at it.
Sucks to hear, but that's why my vehicles don't go thru em. I don't even like using the cat washes where you spray them yourself. The water and and soap they use is too harsh IMO.
Dang that would tick me off, I don't even let my wife hand wash the Two50. I heard some owners put kerosene in some of those cat washes spot free shine.
that sucks man, yea the only time i use the car wash is when i use the self serve to spray off the salt or mud, then i go home and use my own brush, all i can imagine is all the rocks and bits of rust stuck in those brushes
