Ahh Cork it you crusty old turd.... More ground clearance = win. Nuff said. The 8 inch you had on your sd would out do my 3... Why? More ground clearance, taller tires etc... Sent from my iThingy using Tapatalk
I have a BL and I have a receiver and would have my tow hooks if I didn't have my bullbar on it. Dk where u were going with that.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
They hang down unless you fab them. Theyre completely functional, but they don't look good IMO unless you fab them. Sent from my iThingy using Tapatalk
my receiever didnt hang down on my rab ....... u get ground clearance from tires nn , not lift dont get me started , i dont feel like arguin .... i cud put a 3" body and 35s on my scab and itd look just like yer old black one
You get ground clearance from tires? What? If you read my posts nn you'll see that I said 33s and a bl, if you put 35s on it you don't get as much play with the susp. You get approximately exactly 3 more inches if my math is correct... 6 divided by too... Yeah 3 more inches until you scrub with a 6 inch lift. And believe me, I've had those fenders stuff several times. To say that a truck with 3 inches of lift a t bar crank and 35s will look exactly like my old truck with 6 inches of lift a t bar crank and 35s is not only incorrect it is asinine and ignorant. Put your flareside with a 3 inch lift and 35s next to my old flareside with 6 inch lift and 35s I'd bet you two left nuts mine will sit exactly 3 inches higher. Hey west, if I put 37s on my truck it would look exactly like your old sd looked like according to our math genius. * I tried to make this post as sarcastic as I could without smilies. Insert the appropriate smilie at your discretion * Sent from my iThingy using Tapatalk
In all seriousness though dude, if you wanna lift it with a bl do it up, itll look badass like your rab did. A bl just isn't my preference. Yours looked good, but we can all agree that there are some bl's done out there that look like shat, no gap guards and crooked bumpers etc. Sent from my iThingy using Tapatalk
12" BL for the win! BL's have their place. But there is nothing like a suspension lift. Hands down. It is more than worth it, if you plan on really wheeling. Bottom line, is you're limited as to the size of tire you can run with only T-bar crank + BL. To each his own. BL's have their place, and I've ran them, and liked them. Suspension is truly the way to go though.
