6" susp lift on a F150 97-03 = 37" Tires. 3" BL lift on a F150 97-03 = 37" tires. They both do the same thing. One just cost alot less. You can only go as far as you ground clearance (ground to the bottom of your axles) will let you go before your hang up or bottom out. I don't need to make this smartass....I know. I've had both on a 97-03 F150.
Being he's already talking bout getting a newer bodystyle next year I'd just do the BL and save the money.
If hes gonna get a nbs next year, might as well leave this one alone and save the cash for the new ones bl and tires
Im going to say BL.. Cause thats what id do if it was my truck but I do see a 6 inch suspension lift being superior.. Yes both might have 37s and have the same ground clerance from the axles which would make them pretty even in the mud but on a trail the suspension lift will have more flex than a BL running 37s would..
Only on a long travel ^^^ is it alot more superior. I'm not saying susp. Lifts ain't dope. They are. But for a mall crawler like EVERYONE here had BL is the best. Only Zuk has a true wheeling machine.
