HID opinions

I want/need HID's in my truck because I live on back country roads where deer like to randomly cross. My problem is, I can't decide what to do. Everything I am reading says that 55w kits are almost double the light output but that they tend to wash out the color. So here are my options and I would like ya'lls opinions.

1) just get 35w for both in the same color

2) get 55w for the headlights and 35w for the foglights risking them being a similar but possibly different color

3) get 55w for the headlights and 35w for the foglights but step up the temperature on the headlights risking them being a similar but possibly different color

4) get 6000k 55w headlights and the yellow 3000k 35w foglights, know that they are a different color but they are obviously different and not annoyingly different.

 

i have 55w 8k head and 35w 8k fogs. and I like them

 

I've got 55w 6000k Heads and just installed 35w 6000k fogs. Post pics soon, they look pretty similar.

 

same here, not a whole lot of difference in 8-10k either

 

for those with 55w head and 35w fog, do the colors match? Do they look like two different colors?

 

They will be very close in color^^^
