I've had a small exhaust leak since i got it all re-ran for duals last winter. Well i put the truck up on the lift finally last week to try and fix it and i now see why they missed it to begin with. Its right up on the top side of the pipe, where you can't barely get a welder. But in my and uncles efforts to weld it we actually just made the hole worse. So my question to the committee, whats some other ways to seal that up? I've tried all the different Autozone afro-engineer methods with no success. I thought about taking a cylinder shaped piece of aluminum, molding it over the gap, then using a couple sets of those brackets sold to join exhaust pipe, to hold it down. But i dunno, i'm just tired of hearing the truck hiss at me

if its a small enough leak you can use exhaust putty and just put it on there nice and thick
