That's like taking a monk to a strip club. Fun to look at but there's not a **** thing you can do about it. The availability of a supercrew Ranger overseas and not here for years has ticked me off anyway.
Yeah it would never sell looks wise here in the states, but overseas they're eating em up from what I've been reading. With some styling changes they could sell a Ranger that size here in the US again. I'd like to see a screw Ranger in like 4 years. I think they should allow the Ranger name the time off it needs, then come back within 10 years with the Ranger again completely restyled in a midsize platform with two or 3 engine options. Till then I hope the Ranger is a huge success overseas.
Methinks you underestimate Ford's desire not to upset their US applecart. I don't think that the Ranger will reappear until the F150 is knocked off of the best selling leader board. Ford doesn't want to cut into their market share by offering their own competing vehicle.
