Alright i found this truck it looks super clean, its a 98 f250 4x4. but its the f250 that looks like the 97-03 f150. That body style. And i was wondering do they make lifts for them?? I mean i know a body would work i think?? But would a 97 f150 lift kit work?? Im not trying to count my chickens before they hatch, heck i dont even have any money to buy the truck with yet. But if i put my mind to i can probly get the cash but who knows how long lol. But my main question is can they be lifted? Also are there after market rims for them??
this guy put a 6in fabtech on, and the rims he found don't look to bad Ford F150 Forum - Community of Ford Truck Fans - View Profile: thewrubelator
Pro-comp I think makes a 4" lift specifically for it. Not sure if others work. There is a very limited aftermarket wheel selection. Body lift will work tho
Almost positive all lifts will work but not 100% sure. Look on discounttiredirect.com for wheels. I think the bp is 7x150 Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk
as far as i know the 97-98 f150hd and f250ld use the same control arms and knuckles as a standard f150 the difference is the 7 lug and the 10.25 rear did some googleing and as far as i can tell the front has bigger Tbars so you can hang a snow plow on it and the rear U bolts are different cause of the 10.25 axle so it can have a 7700lb GVWR other than that they are the same as a standard F150
isn't it the same suspension as a f150? like front suspension? i know the rear has a bigger leaf pack
if your considering a lifted truck, you should try and snag that badass screw you losted from craigslist in that 1 thread
