chris we got a tractor supply, i think it might be the same. lol we dont really live in a huge farming area.
The only one i know of is the one on 24 in monroe. thats a friggin drive man lol. maybe well have to take a haul down there. ive actually got a fleet farm magazine in my bathroom haha. i looked through it but i saw no truck racks or anything of the sort.
Alright im looking at either of these. which one do you guys think? Im also wondering if the bar would be solid enough mounted on my cap since its fiberglass. im looking to put the 2 hella 700s i have behind my grill right now on the bar. Check out my build thread I have one from CARR Automotive for my Roof Lights... It's descent and hasn't fallen off yet
i was looking at these bars on amazon and i liked them however im not sure they are going to work for my application. i need somthing that will mount flat since im putting this on my bed cap.
makes since, you really just need a piece of square tubing then drill holes to mount your lights in the top and drill holes in the bottom to mount it to the cap... just IMO that would be cheap and easy
i thought of that too. idk where to find a piece of square steel though. like homedepot? and the other thing is do you think it will sit up high enough so the lights get a good angle?
thats actually a fricken great idea now that im thinking about it. the only thing is how am i supposed to mount the lights on the bar? how would i put a nut and washer on the stud? just drill a hole all the way through and then make the hole on the bottom big enough to fit a socket wrench in?
