make sure you didn't hit the fuel shut off on the passenger side floor board.

Sounds like what mine did when the fuel pump went out. Whack the gas tank a few times and see if you can get it to start. Sometimes it works, sometimes it don't. Either way it sounds like fuel pump is gone.

if you have to change the fuel pump dont pay the dealership, they will screw you

its just unbolting the two straps, unplugging the pump and loosing some hose clamps, unbolting pump, pluggin new in and bolting it in then hooking hoses and bolting tank back up ive done it 3 times in 1 year because i drug threw the gas tank but now its raised so it shouldnt happen again

Yeah, they want like $900 to swap a fuel pump at the dealership. They don't drop the tank, they take the bed off and change it out.

I swapped mine out in less then 2 hours with help from Dale (big daddy) and only spent $200 on a pump & sending unit.

Easier said then done. Right now the truck is stuck backed in at the end of the driveway with a trailer behind it. Our driveway is on an incline and so is the street. It's about 2 feet from sticking out in the street. We tried jacking the truck up when backed in once and it just slid down a bit. Oh yeah..... and it's got a drop kit and fiberglass running boards. So there is no way we can drop the tank on it as it sits....

I know what your saying. But its not my truck anymore. Its my dads. Cause I bought that mustang I wanted. Im trying to convince him to give it a try but he wont. Oh well..... He is one of those people who would rather have so called "professionals" do it.
