Would anyone know why my 2001 F-150 5.4L 4WD won't start after sitting for 4 or more days. I first had this problem two weeks ago. The truck would not start but turned over easily. We had just had four days of heavy rain so I figured something under the hood got wet. It eventually got it started and as I drove it around I never had another problem. I parked it for about 7 days and now it won't start at all.

    Thx

When u say won't start, does that mean the engine is turning over?
All the lights on dash coming on?

I'm having a similar issue but I think mine is weak ignition.

Sounds like it's dead Thomas, I don't think it's even turning over. Mine did that, battery was going bad, and eventually went bad.

If that's the case then either battery is bad or there is a drain on the electrical system.

Is there anything that stays on in the truck while it's sitting??? I was leaving my XM plugged up, and my Navi plugged too. There were times where my truck was sitting for 2 to 3 weeks at a time so I screwed the battery myself.

His post says it turns over easily. Why do people make one post and disappear before we can help?
