My CEL came on today, and my Edge is throwing a few codes. I don't know if they are related or not but I'll post them up. My truck seems to be running fine. Idles and drives same as always. Only recent work was adding a quart of oil yesterday, T-case oil change a few days ago, and cleaned/oiled the K&N a few days ago.

P1506: (IAC) valve duty cycle higher than expected

P1000: On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) Systems Readiness Test Not Complete

    P1500 is unknown.

I think I remember the P1500 being there for a while. Can't remember if P1000 is new or not. I'm pretty sure P1506 might be recent.

Where is the IAC located, and how do you clean it?

If I'm not mistaken the IAC is located in the back side of your throttle body and has a wire coming out of it. I think it has two torx screws in it.

Thanks for all the tips guys. I'll pick up some cleaner after work tomorrow and post back with my results.

After some reading around it seems that K&N filters can dirty up your MAF, especially after cleaning the filter and therefore re-oiling it, which I just did a few days ago. So I will be cleaning both the IAC and MAF, like suggested.

Any questions bro pot back, I'll keep an eye on this thread. If you don't mind, see of you can post some pics of your valve and sensor.

I'll try and snap some. I won't get to working on it until later tonight though. Got a lot of homework and figure I'll do it first so my truck can thaw out before I work on it. Are you wanting before or after cleaning, or both?
