hells yea. i just primed it with some rustoleum self etching primer. not sure what self etching means but it said for bare metal. i think i have to go get some regular primer now and put a coat on top of that. anyone know for sure? as far as the final coat i think im just going to stick with black. some of yall said PTM but idk how that will look.

PTM and sit it up there. If you don't like it, you can always spray it black again

yea i already painted it black. i figured if i paintd it red i would have to go get the same red as my truck, thought just normal rustoleum red would look a little off. if the black dont work i can always paint it red haha i gotta go to lowes today and get some small rubber grommets for the mounting holes. i want to try to keep as much water out of the inside as possible so it doesnt rust from the inside out. plus i dont want the metal on the lights rubbing the paint off the bar. also have to pick up some mounting bolts.

took long enough, i know, but its on! still have to mess with the wires a little to clean it up but im done for today.

spent a total of $20 for the whole project. (paint and hardware) got the bar for free and also got it welded for free.

what do yall think? im going to get some night shots tonight.
