Muscle cars are expensive and a headache. I just got rid of my '92 Mustang yesterday. Always needed some kind of work, always breaking/blowing something and sucked gas like it was free. Cars like that are money pits. I probably had $15k into my car and sold it for $4100. Diesel trucks are expensive to buy, fix and fuel up. Sure they might get better gas mileage but since diesel is about 50 cents more per gallon its probably a trade off there.
Bwhahahah so so true.....my stangs been down all yr ....ive replaced at least ten parts to still have problems....ended up buying a 331 stroker and gave up on trying to fix piece by piece.....just putting a new engine in and callen it a day!
been there did that. I went with a 347 though. I hadnt driven mine in a year due to some wiring issues. I had a friend replace the clutch and for some reason after that the reverse lights stayed on the whole time the key was on and I had to start the car by jumping the starter solenoid terminals with a screwdriver. About a month ago I realized that I didnt miss not driving the car and decided to sell it instead of fixing it and then having something else break. It was always something with that car.
