    i got a bronco, 55 chevy bel air (work in progress) and my truck. my mom has a nissan van and chevy impala supercharged. dad has a 250 and mustang. hmmmm variety??

    I'd drive about anything EXCEPT those stupid ass suzuki truck lol. I use to HATE fords. Big Chevy guy all my life, still am. Just ended up in 2 sweet fords the last 3 years.

    Eh, if they want to drive a bowtie, thats fine. I won't be caught in one though. We have fords, chebys, and a dudge at work, the Fords hold up the best and require the least amount of maintenance. Just helps reinforce my superiority complex :peace:

    i am caught in a GMC=CHEVY, same body style different names, one time a week and yesterday was one of them times, car had a flat, so i drove my dads GMC CANYON to work

    A GMC is or at least was back in the day the nicer of the two trucks from what I understand. I always like the looks of the Chevy's front end better up until recently. The current bodystyle trucks has the GMC having the better looking front end over the Chevy.

    Chevy would have a bad ass truck if they'd put the Avalanche/Tahoe front ends on the 1500's. Never have understood why they didn't. As much as I dislike Chevy, I like the current Tahoe a lot.

    Most of my life I have HATED Chevys. Wasn't till recently a guy I work for bought a 04 crew cab z71 and and a 08 GMC (he owns fords to) and there was things I started to like about them. Kinda just grew on me a little. Fords will always be a tougher work truck and will last longer. I love them. But I want to try one out for myself. How can anyone really give a good comparison unless they have owned both :shrug:

    There both good trucks. If they weren't, someone would be out of business.
    My s10 has 285k on stock motor. It got a trans at 283k. This truck has been in my family since 1995 and still runs great. The ford has 215k with no major issues.
