So i have the huge 97-98 fog lights for the 4x4. And im kinda looking to give them a face lift. I thought around on the idea of some D2's in the stock fog housing since its so big. But am passing on that for now.

No im thinking, maybe toss in some SD fogs, mounted on the outer edge of the fog holes. And then make a grille, or something to fill in the rest of the space? Just an idea im tossing around.

    Fogs i've found:

05-07 Ford F250 F350 F450 Super Duty Pickup Truck Fog Light Lamp RL Pair W/B New | eBay

Im just not sure if they have to be mounted with the brackets vertical, or horizontal. As this will affect what i can do to mount them and everything.

    quick chop

    Thoughts? Opinions?

    EDIT: Two other placement options..

Nah. I keep the OEM one on incase i lock myself out. I can unscrew it, and wiggle it inside the door to push the unlock button.

Oh, i know they will J.Wal. I can do duallys, or up to a 10" bar, iirc. But im probably gonna be buying one of their 30" bars when i pull the trigger on my roof rack.

loool on that bold part. I dont physically start any project till i've made my mind up tho.

I should be able to mount two sets right next to each other, without a custom bracket. I just need the over all size of the light, to confirm they'll fit in the holes nicely.
