I'm looking for a power steering automatic steering column for a 67F100 and power steering gearbox. Was told one from 73-76 F100 will work too. Just longs there's no key switch on the column.

I have one from a 1974 F100 with power steering, auto transmission, key switch is on dash, no tilt a fixed column, no wheel.

It needs the steering wheel, lower shift linkage, lower bearing, turn signal lever, turn signal cam switch assembly including hazard switch, wiring harness, detent reinforcement plate and transmission gear indicator.

Basically it is a steering column core suitable for a rebuild.

I gave nearly $275 for a steering column from wrecking yard in Wisconsin back in the 1990's and this is the old one I had to strip down from our truck. Believe me, I shopped around for over 3 months and this was the best deal I could find on one.

There is a company called: Steering Columns Galore's Steering Column Home Page
that will rebuild your old column for $225 plus parts.

These columns aren't cheap unless you find someone that has one and doesn't know the value of it.

Found this post on the web from 8-18-2009 talking about these steering columns from:
Column Shifter Not Shifting Any More - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums

Talking about who has the shift tube part: E3TZ7212D, if you want to rebuild one yourself, the detent hole in the tube gets elongated, the reinforcement plate falls off, hence the reason Ford designed it the way they did.

Maybe a larger sleeve could be slid over the shift tube and a rectangular hole cut out, then the detent lever put back on.
I wasn't much of a welder/machinist back in the mid 1990's and chose to get another column at the time.

Maybe the column I have is something you would take on if no other leads come forth on finding a "cheap" steering column for your project build, keep in mind it is missing alot of the associated parts.

I can keep my eyes open for one in this area for you.

Is that your CL ad? I found complete assy. on ebay that includes power steering gearbox and column for $85 plus shipping cost($46 to ship to me). I have a 3 spd column manual now but if there was a way to convert it automatic and power steering I would be doing it now.

Not my ad just one I found for parts you may need.
That is an awesome price on a box and column, I'm going to look at a complete 9 inch rear end today for $100 with supposed to be 31 spline from a 1974 F100.
