dropped it off at transmission shop

    they are starting on it now as i type to rebuild the AOD thats in it..

    should have it back in less than a week.

    nice man. rebuilt to stock spec? i had the 4r70w in my mustang built, said they'd take 3 days... ended up being 2 weeks. nothing ever goes as planned for me.

    stock rebuild. but with a shift kit hopefully..

    somewhere between 1000 to 1500.. probably closer to 1500 but not bad either way..

    and this is from a very very reputable transmission shop..

    only trans shop i trust with my vehicle.

    trans is out and on the table ready to be cracked open...

    no shift kit for now..

    but upgraded clutch packs and band... way way upgraded..

    along with increasing line pressure in it..

    all is to firm up the shifts...

    thinking bout adding shift kit later but only if the upgraded stuff aint good enough to make me happy.

    Sounds like a good build, decent price too. And you know that its never enough :jester;
