you will probably need a new rear drive shaft thats shorter since the transfer case is mounted after the trans
I commute 100mi/day so no thanks. There was this episode on Trucks! and they extended a bed on a classic truck but Z notching the frame. Always wondered if it would hold up to factory payload specs still. The pcm is easy like any other part. Requires a reflash of course. And ill figure out the vac lines last haha i did wonder if you could take a standard 8.8, turn it around for front fitment, but then flip upside down. Wouldnt this effect make the standard gear now act as reverse?? Worse case scenario i´ll just swap gears.
running vac lines is line running electrical lines, nit that hard just take your time. and yeah xtreme 4x4 did that with an axle. They changed the oiling for the gears. I don't remember how but I bet that episode is still on their website.
Yea I think runnin the vac lines will be cake since i'll have 2 rigs to use as go-bys. Thats thstsame episode I saw. Made an oil baffle so it had room to fling over it. My next question is do you think that the rear axle could be converted for front axle housing lengths? And thanks Lifted5.4Lariat for the knuckles. on my way already
