Well i think i found the problem to my slow truck but idk yet. Want yalls opinion. So when i first got the truck i just had some old dude run a true dual exhaust with glasspacks and tips. Didn really get into specs. So i broke an exhaust hanger and had an exhaust leak and was to lazy to weld it so i took it to a local exhaust shop. Turns out, my pipes on my true dual setup are 2inches or less in diameter. Oh and i have no crossover of any kind and still have all 4 cats. The man said if I wanted him to, he would run me a set of 2.5 inch true duals out lightning style with tips and put in an H pipe and cut two of my cats off for 200$ if I supply the mufflers. Could that be why my truck is a dog and is that a good price. Oh and the pipe he runs is crinkle cut instead of mandrel i think.

sounds decent. H-pipe will make a nice sound. 2.5" minimum for sure. Ditch the glasspacks and get something else, choices are abundant. Cutting the two rear cats off wont hurt a thing.

2.5 true duels would make u lose to much low end. But the best is 2.25 for a 4.6.

Should be. But I would go with 2.25 with a 4.6 and 2.5 with the 5.4

which this 2.5 is crinkle instead of mandrel so it wont actually be 2.5 in the corners. Btw, what muffler do yall suggest??? I want a straight through design! or something like the new magnaflow DI DO with the built in x pipe. NO FLOWMASTERS OR CHERRYBOMBS
